Vacancy rates for US office properties fell to a new 7-year low of 13.9% by the end of 2015 according to a new report from Cushman & Wakefield as reported by Bisnow. 700,000 new office jobs nationally helped spur the absorption rate which totaled 81.7 million square feet. Needless to say, this pushed rents higher which rose 4.2% to end the year at $28.15 per square foot.
